Nintendo Wii Fit Plus
Nintendo have finally announced that they will release the long awaited follow-up to the Wii Fit game with the launch of Wii Fit Plus. The Wii Fit Plus follows on from the hugely popular original Wii Fit that now boasts around 17 million fans.
The Wii Fit aims to help users lose weight through fun exercise games. The new Wii Fit Plus will undoubtedly follow suit but it's expected to enable users to compete, er, I mean compare results over the Internet. The new game is also expected to offer a range of more gentle exercises for the active grey market. This generation are much fitter than previous generations, not to mention a high level of disposable income.
Nintendo are keeping tight lipped about whether the new Wii Fit Plus game will prompt the launch of a new Wii Fit Plus Console but seeing as Nintendo have already applied for Wii Fit Plus trademarks, it seems highly likely as that would be an unusual step just for a new game.
